LESER builds for the Future

LESER starts to build the extension of its production hall in Hohenwestedt and paves the way to further growth. The target is the evolution of the production facility with a comprehensive package for future production, providing enough space for growth until the year 2022.

The new production hall will provide a total available area of 5,500 m² and 85 per cent of that will be used for production and logistics. 3,700 m² of the new production floor will be used for final assembly, shipping and a new, flexible project line, while 1,000 m² have been set aside for prefabrication. A three-story annex will accommodate additional offices, sanitary facilities and building services. In the yard behind the hall, a 7,000- m² area has been reserved for access roads and 90 additional parking spaces.

It is not all just a matter of capacity, or how many safety valves we can manufacture in a given time. Background are changing markets and regulatory requirements as well as the developing of the production processes. By setting up a flexible project line step by step, we want to improve our ability to respond to special requirements, whether from customer projects or otherwise, by structuring our processes around them. The new project line will be set up in a separate production area and cover the entire process chain from picking to assembly and to packaging.

With the new production hall LESER is well prepared for the current and future challenges.
