LESER converts its screw and nut materials to globally approved materials. LESER achieves admissibility for both American and European regulations through multiple certification. For example, LESER materials for stainless steel screw connections meet the requirements for A4-70 and those for ASTM A193 B8M and ASTM A320 B8M. In the same way, LESER achieves global availability for carbon steel bolted joints.

In principle, the body and bonnet materials control the bolt and nut material unless additional options are used. With a few exceptions, the following material pairing will apply to conventional valves (see table on the left side)
