Safety for Vaca Muerta

Argentina is famous for wine, beef and soccer. It is eight times the size of Germany. What is less well known is that the country’s Vaca Muerta (“dead cow”) field is one of the world’s largest shale oil and gas reservoirs. These resources are attracting significant investment, turning Argentina into an increasingly important player in the global energy market.

For LESER, this creates a safety valve market with an estimated potential of around USD 7 million. To capture this opportunity and further strengthen its market leadership, LESER is sharpening its customer focus by accelerating service and increasing transparency.

LESER’s sales partner Turbigas is currently investing in a new assembly hall and expanding its local warehouse in Buenos Aires, with completion scheduled for early 2026. Once finished, Turbigas will be able to deliver LESER safety valves to customers in Argentina in as little as one week, faster than any competitor.

As another step toward greater customer satisfaction, LESER is introducing a transparent pricing structure specifically for Argentina. This provides customers with greater planning reliability and full price transparency.

With this approach, LESER combines technology made in Germany with strong local availability, creating the foundation for long-term success in Argentina’s growing market.
