Case Study

LESER LNG POSVs support high plant efficiency in liquefaction process

The efficiency of the plant was improved by the use of pilot-controlled safety valves (POSV) in the relevant areas. They are, in contrast to spring-loaded safety valves, tight up to the point of tripping and thus meet the requirement of a higher operation pressure in relation to the set pressure of the plant.

Six POSV's now support the efficiency of the LIMUM® technology in the liquefaction plant. LESER's project department supported Linde from the first FEED phase through to the commissioning of the project.
