Experience Days | Successful Conference on Plant Safety and Digitization
The closing event was a panel discussion on the topic of digitalization held between representatives of Linde, BASF and LESER. The question what digitalization means for the overpressure protection of process plants was discussed. An outlook on the changing environment not only for safety valves but also for employees due to the digital transformation was given.
In addition to the conference, the participants visited the LESER factory in Hohenwestedt. More than 150 visitors took the opportunity to get a deep insight into the modern production facility guided by the responsible department managers and therefor the developers of the factory itself. A sightseeing tour of Hamburg was on the agenda too with 80 participants giving an impression of the flair and maritime charm of the “gateway to the world” as the city of Hamburg is also called. The opening dinner for the Experience Days was celebrated at the Museum of Hamburg History which is connected to the history of LESER by parts of the stone facade which were once part of the former building of LESER in the today no longer existing “Neustädter Fuhlentwiete” of Hamburg.
Shortly further video impressions and interviews with participants will follow on this place. Please have a look from time to time.
