The Factory of Safety Valves in Hohenwestedt, Schleswig-Holstein is growing. LESER invests in the future: Topping-out ceremony for the hall extension in Hohenwestedt.

LESER is the leading manufacturer of safety valves in Europe and is growing. On June 12, the company celebrated the topping-out ceremony for the new 15,000 m² production hall in Hohenwestedt in Schleswig-Holstein. More than 500 participants, employees, guests from the region, Mayor Jan Butenschön, District Administrator Ingo Sanders and representatives from business and associations were on site. The topping-out ceremony was held in the hall of the new building together with the building contractor Bartram and the employees involved in the construction.

Managing Director Joachim Klaus moderated the event and addressed the production expansion in his role as keynote speaker. He was followed by Thomas Ritscher from GRS Architekten, who provided interesting insights into the construction progress, as well as District Administrator (Rendsburg Eckernförde district) Ingo Sander and Hohenwestedt Mayor Jan Butenschön, who also highlighted the importance of the "FACTORY OF SAFETY VALVES" as an employer in the rural region in their speeches.

"We are delighted with the smooth construction process. The LESER project team and I would like to thank our general contractor Bartram and its employees as well as all the associated trades for their tireless professional commitment. Let's celebrate this stage of LESER's future together," said LESER's Managing Director and member of the Board of Management, Joachim Klaus, at the event.

With this expansion, LESER is sending a further signal for growth at its location in Germany. With building certification KFW40, the standard for energy-saving buildings, the expansion marks another step forward in LESER 's 200-year company history. The hall extension impresses with its size and technical and ecological efficiency. With its main plant "The Factory of Safety Valves in Hohenwestedt" and one plant each in China and India as well as eight locations, LESER is one of the leading manufacturers of safety valves worldwide.

Today's topping-out ceremony is also an expression of appreciation towards the building contractor Bartram, all the trades, those involved in the construction and, of course, the employees. This celebration serves both as a symbolic expression of thanks and as a social gathering. After all, the LESER employees can also expect a lot of new, more modern working environments and social areas. There is great joy at the current construction progress.
At the same time as the topping-out ceremony, LESER in Hohenwestedt is celebrating its annual "opening". A celebration to mark the end of the previous financial year and the start of the new one. Due to the topping-out ceremony, the two events were combined.

One building for all: safety valves , engineering and production services under one roof
The plant expansion will enable LESER to strengthen its position as one of the world's leading suppliers of safety valves . The planned growth will thus be secured for the coming years in terms of production and logistics. New office, social and meeting rooms and a new canteen will be created for the employees. The hall construction will provide a more modern working environment for all employees.
