External sustainability initiative

In order to check the effectiveness of the measures implemented, LESER carries out an external sustainability assessment by the provider EcoVadis. EcoVadis is the world's largest provider of sustainability assessments for companies and has a global network of more than 100,000 assessed companies. As part of the EcoVadis assessment, LESER is evaluated in the four areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. LESER received a silver medal for good sustainability performance in the last assessment in 2023.

LESER safety relief valves are used worldwide to protect people, the environment and industry. They protect our customers' systems and processes against impermissible overpressure. LESER contributes to the environmental and climate protection goals of the United Nations Paris Agreement of 2015. Through a systematic environmental program and the sensitization of employees to environmentally conscious action, LESER continuously ensures a lower impact on the environment and the climate. LESER is gradually reducing the company's environmental impact through the careful use of resources. Maintaining certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001 provides the necessary framework for this.
