LESER Safety Valves are designed to last up to 30 years. They can be repaired and adapted to changing operating conditions using original spare parts in a resource-saving manner. Whenever possible, we use self-generated electricity from renewable energy sources. LESER has developed occupational health and safety regulations that often exceed national regulations. Code of Conduct

The LESER Code of Conduct is to be regarded as a self-commitment and internal guideline and supports employees in their daily work to make decisions and act in accordance with applicable laws and the values of LESER. LESER is convinced that behavior that complies with this Code contributes to sustainability, is economically efficient, socially just and environmentally sustainable. LESER uses its available organization in all parts of the world to do business in the spirit of sustainable development, while at the same time promoting responsible treatment of people and the environment and thereby shaping the future.

LESER expects its business partners to have the same basic understanding of responsible conduct. The principles described in the Code of Conduct for Suppliers must be observed by our suppliers.

External sustainability initiative

In order to check the effectiveness of the measures implemented, LESER carries out an external sustainability assessment by the provider EcoVadis. EcoVadis is the world's largest provider of sustainability assessments for companies and has a global network of more than 100,000 assessed companies. As part of the EcoVadis assessment, LESER is evaluated in the four areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. LESER received a silver medal for good sustainability performance in the last assessment.

LESER safety relief valves are used worldwide to protect people, the environment and industry. They protect our customers' systems and processes against impermissible overpressure. LESER contributes to the environmental and climate protection goals of the United Nations Paris Agreement of 2015. Through a systematic environmental program and the sensitization of employees to environmentally conscious action, LESER continuously ensures a lower impact on the environment and the climate. LESER is gradually reducing the company's environmental impact through the careful use of resources. Maintaining certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001 provides the necessary framework for this.

With more than 1,050 employees and 130,000 safety relief valves produced per year, LESER is the largest manufacturer of safety relief valves in Europe and one of the leading companies in its industry worldwide. The economic success of the company depends largely on the performance of its employees. LESER is committed to reducing work-related health risks for its employees and ensuring healthy working conditions. LESER continuously improves the integration of occupational health and safety into the company organization.
