Ecological
LESER aims to achieve CO2 neutrality in Scope* 1 and 2 by 2035 and CO2 neutrality in Scope 3 by 2050 at all locations. LESER continuously reduces resource consumption, promotes reusability, and substitutes resources where possible by using secondary (recycled) or (environmentally and human-friendly) materials.
• Reduce absolute CO2 emissions in Scope 1 (gas, heating oil, and fuel consumption of the LESER vehicle fleet) by 5% compared to the previous year.
• Reduce absolute Scope 2 CO2 emissions (electricity and district heating consumption) by 10% compared to the 2023/24 fiscal year.
• Achieve an annual energy efficiency improvement of 2% (for production sites)
• Reduction of paper consumption and plastic waste relative to the mass of valves produced by 10% each compared to the 2023/24 fiscal year.
